I thought this was a positive switcher for Lightning Blue from the Gretton (3%) to Drinkwater (9%) yard, and the filly hadn’t been running too badly when last seen for her previous trainer, losing 9l to Andapa, who has been going close enough off an 11lb higher mark since.
The selection does need to improve on that effort, but I think her new trainer will improve her enough for her to be going closer, and his horses are running well at the moment too. Tudor is one of the better jocks in here, and that is always a big help in these conditional only races.
Masterdream is possibly about 10lb well in if we take his Jersey win at face value, but as he ran such a shocking race over this CD on his last run under rules here, his price is very disappointing, but if he drifted out to 5/1 or something then I’d give him a go.
