HAZEL BEAR – 8.30pm WOLVERHAMPTON

0.5 POINTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED AT A WIDELY AVAILABLE 25/1 FOR 3 PLACES

Hi guys, with me always trying to spot and give you the outsider in the field who looks over-priced and there are reasons for it to run well I’m trying a 25/1 shot in this 8.30 race at Wolverhampton tomorrow night.

The horse is Hazel Bear who is a 10-race maiden but she has a 2nd and two 3rd’s in her form. She went close three starts back tried in a first-time hood (retained) over 1m2f only going down by a length in 3rd at Lingfield last November off a mark of 57 and she has been dropped 3lb since for two runs over an unsuitably long 1m4f (didn’t stay).

Wears number 6 coming out of Stall 6

She has dropped 15lb in the past 11 months and back at a more suitable 1m1.5f she could go well with first-time booking and in form Aidan Keeley (Last 14 days: 4-15, 27%) taking a further useful 3lb off and also having his first ride for the Jamie Osborne yard (as far as I can see).

The selection has shown ability having ran to Racing Post Ratings between 61-65 five-times in her 10 career starts to date so running off just 54 here with Aidan onboard she might do something. She is also down in Grade (0-55 as opposed to 0-60 the past twice) I’m not saying she is going to win but she does look over-priced at 25/1.

She hasn’t ran at Wolverhampton but appeared to handle the Tapeta surface well enough in two runs at Southwell finishing a length 2nd of 13 in one of them running to an RPR of 65.

Each way at a widely available 25/1 for 3 places as I post this.

Good luck!
