Hi guys, This 10-runner Class 4 handicap looks fairly uncompetitive so in a rarity for me I am taking a chance on one who has been out of form recently.
The horse is Oscars Leader and I’m taking that chance because I think even if he runs badly he could hit the first three in this line-up.
He has steadily dropped 16lb down the weights since this time last year and he also drops down in Grade today (0-110 as opposed to 0-120).
The Jenny Candlish yard have hit form recently (Last 14 days: 3-12, 25%), I like the first-time booking of Darragh O’Keefe, the horse should be approaching peak fitness on his fifth start of the season, and I think he will be suited by today’s slightly extra yardage. He could now be ready to strike.
