I should have got this out to you earlier guys as I was going to tip Oleg at 15/2 but, while I got distracted doing other things, he has unfortunately since shortened to 11/2. I’m still with him at that price because the word from the Paul Nicholls camp is he is going to win today.
His record since joining them in in February last year is 121PU11 with him pulling up when he broke a blood vessel. He was ultra-impressive when winning at Pontefract over 2m1f seven weeks ago where he easily beat the re-opposing Seinesational by 4.5 lengths running on strongly through the line looking like he’d have no problem staying further. That rival is 8lb better off at the weights but the selection looked well ahead of his handicap mark that day and having only gone up 3lb for the win, with plenty more to come from him, I don’t see Seinesational reversing the placings.
There are unknowns about Oleg wit him running 3 furlongs further today than ever before and him never having ran at Goodwood so you are betting on his potential but Paul Nicholls is usually right when he is this confident so I have to side with him. Good luck!
