SERIOUS OPERATOR (NAP) – 4.10pm AYR
2 POINTS WIN BET ADVISED AT A GENERALLY AVAILABLE 6/4
Hi again guys, I don’t tip many Favourites but I am very keen on the chances of Serious Operator (6/4) in the 4.10 at Ayr.
The selection is a 6 year old gelding who runs for the in form Lucinda Russell yard (Last 14 days: 4-22, 18%). Patrick Wadge takes a useful 5lb off but more importantly he will be suited by the Good ground and the long run-in at Ayr as he likes to gallop.
I also think he could be very well-in starting out in handicaps off a mark of 119 as he beat Mortlach (now rated 130 over hurdles and 135 over fences) by 1.25 lengths around today’s 2m5.5f trip last October. Serious Operator was in receipt of 5lb that day but that still makes him look well-in running off 119 here as he was coming off a 154-day break so he will be fitter today on his fifth start of the season. He has also improved since then and this should be much easier than the Grade 2 he was thrown in to at Haydock 63 days ago.
