Hi again guys, as you can see I’m studying away and trying to get a few tips out to you because I didn’t give you much through the week as I was so busy writing, life got in the way, etc.
This is another tough race but it is on ITV so punters like tips in them. I’m a sucker for trying to find the each way value bet and I think here that might prove to be BOLDMERE who is currently 28/1 for 5 places with BET365. That might be the way to go as you need insurance and no amount of luck in these competitive Saturday afternoon bigger field races.
So, why BOLDMERE who pulled-up two starts back on his seasonal debut coming off a 202-day break before finishing a well-beaten 15 lengths 4th last time? Well, he was pulled-up in that first race after being badly hampered and the 3m4.5f on Heavy Going appeared to stretch him last time. He could go better here back at 3-miles on Soft ground with drying conditions at the track.
He also won two of these Vererans Handicaps back in the spring when sent off at just 5/4F & 5/2F and having been dropped 5lb for those last two starts he is back down to 3lb below his last winning mark.
His jumping is an asset, he will be suited by the left-handed track, Bryan Carver has won on him, and he will be fitter on his third start of the season.
Again, this is a highly competitive race so please don’t be expecting too much but he looks over-priced at 25/1-28/1 and worth an each way interest for 4-5 places. The more places the better!
The advice is 0.5 points each way at 28/1 with BET365 paying 5 places on the race.
