Karl Burke’s horses have for the most part been running well this week with 3 winners in the bag and I think his 4 year old gelding Makthecat could go well in this. This €38,000 purchase has ran well twice when fresh, the ground should be fine, Clifford Lee is a talented first-time booking, he looks on a very workable mark for his handicap debut, this is his second run after a wind-op, and I think he will be suited by today’s 1m2f trip after not getting home over 1m4f last time. In fact, I think today’s trip looks ideal for him and could bring about improvement. Let’s hope so. Good luck!
