Hi guys, the 5 year old gelding Buckingham hasn’t been in good form but looks worth chancing at the current 11/1 on offer running off a career low mark.
Buckingham has dropped to 3lb below his last winning mark, he drops down two Classes today from a Class 3 to a Class 5 handicap, he has only ran at Epsom once but showed he handled the track only going down by a short-head in 2nd, and Georgia Dobie knows him well and takes a useful 3lb off his back. He won as recently as June, he will be suited by the step up from 7f to 8.5f, and the Eve Johnson Houghton yard are in good form (Last 14 days: 5-28, 18%).
I would recommend 0.5 points each way at the 11/1 price in this 9-runner event. He is generally available at 10/1. Good luck!
