FARMIX – 2.00 CLONMEL

WIN BET ADVISED AT 7/4 AVAILABLE WITH ALL THE FOLLOWING BOOKMAKERS…

Yesterday doesn’t look great at first glance with me only “officially” giving you Woodford General at 7/1 in the 2.30. However, I thought it was worth pointing out that I mentioned In From The Cold who won the 3.30 at 15/2, Numerian who won the 4.00 at 15/2, Lemista who won the 4.30 at 7/1, and Russian Emperor at 5/4 in the last. This is a fairly typical day for a tipster (or me anyway I find) where you can easily narrow each race down to two or three horses with the best chances of winning but you don’t always get it right when putting your final selection out to yourselves, the betting public. So, just for future reference really, you’ll know anything I give a “mention” to also has a decent chance in my opinion so please feel free to make your own mind up and go against my main choice if you think one I’ve mentioned has a better chance. Obviously, it’s winners I want to give you but I’ll be happy I’ve done my job if I’ve reduced a field of 14 runners down to 3 with chances which then go on to finish 1st & 3rd like In From The Cold & The King Of Kells did in the 3.30 yesterday.

I think the market has got the 2 o’clock race right even though it is a 16-runner Maiden there would appear to be few with realistic chances of winning. I’m against Racing Post selection Florrie Webb mainly because she has a 256 day absence to overcome against race-fit rivals. Farmix looked well suited by the drop back to 2 miles last time so after finishing 2nd the last twice I’m hopeful he can get his head in front this time against today’s rivals. Coolagh Park (7/2) looks the main danger while I though Jack Hackett at 11/1 had chances of hitting the places. I’ve backed Farmix, who only looks a solid rather than outstanding option, for small to medium stakes at 2.96 on Betfair Exchange as this represents much better value than the Bookies current best price of 7/4.

If you like my write-ups and they’ve helped you then please…
