FOUR FEET – 3.40pm BATH
0.5 PTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED AT 9/1 AVAILABLE WITH BETFAIR SPORTSBOOK & PADDY POWER WHO ARE PAYING 4 PLACES
I think Four Feet is worth an each way interest at a generally available 9/1 but the best offer is from Betfair Sportsbook & Paddy Power who are paying the first 4 home. You really should try to take that extra place insurance if you can with this being a 13-runner handicap.
The selection has caught my eye in his first two starts this year with him looking like he has strengthened up/improved physically from 3 to 4. He didn’t appear to stay 1m2f last time (which was no surprise with his Sire being Harbour Watch) but impressed me the time before where he finished 2 lengths 4th of 12 over this trip at Chelmsford despite being hampered late on.
The selection is untried on better than Good so today’s Firm is an unknown but his Sire & Dam both won on Good to Firm so his pedigree offers hope he will handle it. He is well-drawn in stall 14, should be nearing full fitness on his third start of the season, and will be well-suited by the return to a mile. I’m hoping/expecting he can take a step forward and run to an RPR of around 60 which should be enough to take this and give the talented Emma Taff (@Emmataff1), who takes a useful 7lb off, her first winner. She is an apprentice attached to the Henry Candy yard, has more than 3 years experience, has been placed (2nd-4th) 9-times in 27 rides, and having nearly won on Soldier’s Son last month (who excruciatingly only went down by a neck) it’s only a matter of time before she gets off the mark. Good luck!
