Hi guys, Misty Mani has dropped 13lb down the weights since receiving her initial handicap mark last December, didn’t run badly last time in a first-time tongue-tie (retained) to finish 14.5 lengths 7th of 14 over this trip to the re-opposing Hungry Tiger (7/4 Fav), and is much better off at the weights with that one so can get much closer this time.
The 7 year old mare has been dropped 3lb since that last run and could still have more to offer on just her fifth handicap start having been competitive when finishing 2nd in her best bumper run here back in November 2020. I also like the first-time booking of Tom Midgley, the Going looks spot on, and she could be suited by the return to a galloping track like Wetherby where she ran well on her her only other visit.
