MYTH BUSTER – 4.10 THURLES

I’m sure you guys know I wouldn’t normally be interested in these races at Thurles but with no UK racing on and us looking an interest in the horse racing on a while of a Saturday afternoon what can you do. I’ve been through the whole card in detail and most of the races are fairly unappetising from a betting perspective being big field open looking handicaps with a few smaller competitive looking races thrown in. With that said, my best bet of the day would have to be Myth Buster in the 4.10 with Rachel Blackmore taking over in the saddle for the first time. The stand out piece of form which gives him a major chance here was his close up 3rd of 10 to the high class Willie Mullins pair Easy Game & Allaho (who we were on at Cheltenham) around this trip at Leopardstown over Christmas. He then got out-classed in a valuable Grade 1 behind Faugheen back there 7 weeks ago but he has been freshened up since and takes a major drop in class in to handicap company off a workable looking mark. There are doubts about his main rivals and with more to come from the Henry De Bromhead 7 year old gelding he should take all the beating.
