Hi guys, I think Rostello looks worth an each way interest in this having dropped 17lb down the weights since last August to 9lb below his last winning mark. He is available at a best price 13/2 with 888SPORT but still looks worth an each way interest at the generally available 6/1. Unibet are the only bookmaker I am aware of paying 4 places in this 9-runner race so they could be a good way to go.
The selection should be fit having his fourth start since coming back from a 96-day break. I like that he is returning to a left-handed track after having been reported as jumping left throughout last time and he also caught my eye staying on late there to finish 3rd so could be suited by the first time step up to 24.5f having never ran beyond 22.5f before. The winner of the race also won next time out off a 5lb higher mark giving the form a strong look. The Dr Richard Newland yard is in form (Last 14 days: 3-12, 25%) and Cillin Leonard who has won on him 3-times, and is back on having not been booked for Rostello’s last 4 runs, takes a useful further 5lb off his back.
He has the Favourite to beat but he has gone 15lb up the weights for his last two runs/wins and I’m not sure he beat all that much last time. So, all things considered, he looks a good each way bet.

Cracking run will win again I’d say
Hi Ian, Rostello won by 14L eased down so it’ll be interesting to see what the handicapper does but he’ll take a hike in the weights I would imagine. What I would say is, he is completely unexposed at staying trips & as an 8yo still has his best days ahead of him but he didn’t beat much today. Could win again but it’ll depend on the opposition so, of course, the whole race will have to be re-assessed before betting him next time. 😃👍
