This is a competitive 5-runner Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle with the only one you can safely rule out being Yorsexyanduknowit (100/1) who has shown nothing in 3 starts.
The top 4 in the betting are all capable of winning so mathematically it makes sense to go for the outsider of the 4 who is GIO’S GIRL. Besides that, this former point winner who is the most experienced of these over hurdles showed last time she is an out-and-out stayer when finishing a running on 5 lengths 2nd of 8 to a useful novice over slightly shorter to produce a career best at Exeter 23 days ago. It was a good run considering she hung left-handed throughout so switched to this right-handed track, fully fit on her third start of the season, with today’s stamina sapping conditions in her favour (and likely to suit her better than her rivals) she wouldn’t be a surprise winner.
