ROXBORO ROAD – 3.10 WETHERBY
WIN BET ADVISED AT A 9/2 AVAILABLE WITH ALL THE FOLLOWING BOOKMAKERS…
Roxboro Road is a risky one so please adjust your stakes accordingly but I think he looks worth a punt at the current 9/2 on offer because he was sent off at 3/1 in a better, higher Class race, than this last time. That was on his stable debut for the Ben Haslam yard where he came in for strong support before under-performing over an unsuitably short 2 mile trip at Ayr 10 days ago. It is possible he could go much better today stepped up 3 furlongs in trip in this easier race and I can see him going off a fair bit shorter than 5/1 which is why I’m putting the tip out early. Roxboro Road, who won a much better race than this at Fairyhouse last April, is rated 11lb higher over hurdles and has dropped 10lb down the weights since last October. He’s risky because he has been in poor form in his last 5 runs over fences but better was obviously expected of him last time and he may do better in re-fitted blinkers today as he has won in them previously.
