The 3 year old Amy Murphy trained filly Rudaina, who cost 65,000gns as a yearling, is a half-sister to 5-winners up to a mile and didn’t run to a bad level in a good race (which is working out well) over an unsuitably long 1m2f on her seasonal debut 27 days ago. She went off at 80/1 in that so there wasn’t too much expected from her (probably because she was never going to stay the trip) but she ran well for about a mile before weakening gradually in the final 2 furlongs. She still achieved a pretty decent RPR of 78 and the longer trip won’t have done her fitness any harm now dropped back to a mile. So, back over a more suitable trip today, with that run behind her, from an ok draw in stall 6, and Hollie Doyle an eye-catching in form (Last 14 days: 8-45, 18%) first-time booking she may well out run her 12/1 odds. She looks a little over-priced at that and worth an each way interest in this 12-runner affair. Good luck!
