The 7 year old mare My Lady Grey won a couple of hurdle races here last summer off 90 & 97, and went close a few times off 105 too. She’s been chasing this season, where she jumped OK on debut, but she disappointed for whatever reason, maybe the ground being too quick (Good to firm).
She then ran again over the same CD on soft ground, but she really struggled to jump out of the ground, making several mistakes, but still looked the likely winner but for blundering all chance away 4 out.
She’s been dropped another 2lb, and the stable conditional takes off 8lb, so she’s effectively running off 87 here. I don’t think there is a better handicapped horse in the race, but it’s whether everything clicks for her, and if the first time blinkers work, then she’s got a big chance.
