CYRUS KEEP– 5.45pm HEXHAM

1 POINT WIN BET ADVISED AT THE 9/1 AVAILABLE WITH THE FOLLOWING BOOKMAKERS…

The 8 year old Cyrus Keep isn’t the most consistent of beasts, but he was impressive when winning over this CD two starts back with some real authority.

He just didn’t look the in the same form 15 days later, but I think the trainer made a fair point that the run was too soon, as his win was after an 89 day break, and they’ve freshened him up again since (72 day break), and applied the first time visor (instead of blinkers), just to keep him interested.

Of course the horse could come no where once more, but I think it’s worth taking on the front two at the prices – Mr Tamb looks to have a harsh mark, and is he really crying out for 20f at one of the stiffest courses? Henry Sellers was a good winner in Ireland, but it looks a negative switch of yards (10% to 2%).
