GNAT ALLEY – 2.00pm RIPON

0.5 POINTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED AT A GENERALLY AVAILABLE 15/2

Hi guys, I think the 2 year old Tim Easterby trained filly Gnat Alley, who cost 40,000 GNS as a foal, looks worth an interest at the generally available 15/2 making her handicap debut off a workable/lenient looking mark of 62 in a Class 5 handicap.

Gnat Alley has shown ability in three starts so far and comes in to the reckoning here mainly based on her first two starts after she was well-beaten from a poor draw at Pontefract last time. Prior to that she finished 2.5 lengths 4th of 9 over this 5f trip at Beverley and was a good 4th of 10 on her debut. Both the races are working out well making her mark of 62 look on the lenient side. The winners of the races are now rated 83 & 88 respectively and there are plenty of horses that finished behind her now rated much higher than her opening handicap mark of 62.

She is well-drawn in stall 10, is entitled to improve on just her fourth start ever, and looks a good each way bet at the price. I would recommend 0.5 points each way in this 10-runner race. Good luck!
