SIGLO SIX – 1.40pm WOLVERHAMPTON

I quite like the chances of the ex-Hugo Palmer trained 5 year old gelding Siglo Six in this. He was picked up for 57,000 GNS in May 2018, won twice for Mr Palmer at 7f and a mile, was officially rated as high as 88 and running at Class 2 level, before regressing, being picked up for £5,000 last October and moved to the Shaun Lycett Yard. He has had three runs for his new yard improving each time running his best race last time when 2.25 lengths 4th of 9 when appearing not to stay 1m3f at Kempton.
He has dropped 16lb down the weights to 11lb below his last winning mark and has form as recent as last October which puts him bang in the reckoning here where he finished a running on 2.25 lengths 8th of 12 in a Class 4 race over 7f here and runs off a 4lb lower mark in this. He is also dropped in to a Class 5 handicap for the first time in his career and will be suited by today’s extra yardage.
He looks over-priced at 14/1 and well worth an each way interest in this weak looking 11-runner affair. Good luck!
