Hi guys, I think the 7 year old Magellan looks worth an each way interest having dropped to 4lb below his last winning mark on the All-Weather. Many firms are offering 33/1 and paying the first 4 places home.
He has been contested over hurdles mainly for the last couple of years and hasn’t exactly been in form but could go well back on the All-Weather at a track he is 1-1 with the win coming over C&D. He has ran well twice coming back from a break including a win after a 123-day break. He returns from a 345-day break in this returning to an old yard. Billy Garrity is a good in form (Last 14 days: 4-24, 17%) first-time booking who takes a further useful 3lb off his back and the Philip Kirby yard are in form (Last 14 days: 3-15, 20%). Looks worth an interest at the price.
Basically, he has a chance at the weights if he has been freshened up by the change of yards and can revive for the return to the All-Weather. Good luck!
