ANOTHER TUCO – 3.25 FFOS LAS

EACH WAY ADVISED AT 8/1 (with BET365, William Hill, & SKYBET).

There was a bit of guess work involved when it came to selecting Another Tuco here as you are betting on potential rather than what he has shown us to date so, for that reason, he isn’t the strongest of selections but looks worth chancing each way at current prices. I’ve spent over an hour on the race trying to weigh up the quality of his rivals form and, while there are a few open to improvement, the selection won’t need to be a superstar to win this. Another Tuco has been running against better company than this in his short hurdles career to date with his 5th behind the current Favourite for Tuesday’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, Shiskin, looking like decent form in the context of this race. The eye is drawn to the first-time booking of an in form Richard Johnson (Last 14 days: 5-18, 28%), he has been dropped 4lb from his handicap debut last time, he is down in Class, the application of first-time cheek-pieces should help keep his mind on the job and may spark some improvement, and while he ideally wants further than this the easy underfoot conditions should bring this former 3-mile PTP winner’s abundance of stamina in to play. He is lightly-raced, unexposed, and open to improvement so, all things considered, he looks worth an each way interest at the current 8/1 on offer.
