GREY FLINT – 4.50pm HUNTINGDON

0.5 POINTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED AT THE 8/1 AVAILABLE WITH BET365

The 6 year old gelding Grey Flint hasn’t exactly set the world alight, and has been a bit disappointing over hurdles given his bumper form wasn’t that bad. However, I do feel like we saw a lot more promise on his latest start when drawing clear to finish third behind an impressive winner (Who is 11/4f for the race before), and the second who looked to be plotted up.

I think the selection could have finished second, but because he was upped in trip, he was poorly placed off a slow gallop and the front two got first run on him. The time was still quicker than the first division, where that winner won by 8l himself, and it looked like strong form too.

It’s by no means a bad race, but it would be disappointing if he couldn’t at least place.
