ECCLES STREET – 5.40pm REDCAR
0.5 POINTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED THE 33/1 WITH BET365
Hi guys, I like the 33/1 that the lightly-raced 3 year old Grant Tuer trained gelding Eccles Street has opened up at with BET365 in this 5.40 low grade Class 6 race at Redcar tomorrow.
The selection has only had 4 runs to date from 6f to a mile and I’m guessing he has been priced-up at 33’s because he hasn’t shown very much ability to date. However, he cost 70,000 GNS as a yearling and it is just possible he has been running over unsuitably short trips with plenty of stamina in his pedigree and him stepping up a significant 6f in trip tomorrow. This is a fairly poor race and running off a mark of just 55 it is possible he could take a step forward.
This is much more “guessy” than I like or than what you will usually get from me but I think, in this 9-runner affair, this one looks worth a punt with the application of first-time blinkers and the switch to turf also possible sources of improvement. He will be fit on his fifth start since January and the yard have been among the winners recently (Last 14 days: 3-20, 15%).
The advice is 0.5 points each way at 33/1 with BET365.
