IF KARLS BERG DID – 8.35pm UTTOXETER

0.5 POINTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED THE 10/1 WITH BET365 WHO ARE PAYING 4 PLACES

Hi guys, you have to like the first-time booking of Harry Cobden on If Karls Berg Did in the 8.35 at Uttoxeter this evening as he has a 38% strike rate (8-21) when riding for trainer Milton Harris.

I also like the current 10/1 price with BET365 for 4 places (9/1 generally) and the horse could now be well-handicapped and hopefully ready to strike having dropped 30lb down the weights since receiving his initial hurdles handicap mark back in October of 2020. He has also been getting fitter making his way back from a 523-day break in five starts since November while dropping 16lb for those 5 runs.

Wears number 11

He is in receipt of 10lb from the Favourite, Can’t Beat History, who has run to a best Racing Post Rating of 94 and if the selection could get back to anywhere near his best 2020 form of 109 he’d take this in his stride. Both trip and ground are fine.

The main concern has to be he is an 18-race maiden but, having watched back a few of his races, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with his attitude and he looks a bet to finish in the first 4 in this 13-runner race at 10/1 odds.

The advice is 0.5 points each way at the 10/1 with BET365 if you can get it.

Good luck!
