Previous All-Weather form would suggest Mark Jonhston’s lightly-raced 3 year old filly Auchterarder is better than her current mark of 89.
Her record on the AW is 2131 including on tonight’s Polytrack surface though this is her first visit to Chelmsford. She steps up an extra 2 furlongs in trip this evening, which is an unknown, but has shaped a few times like it might suit having been seen running on strongly over 6f and it also suits on breeding.
She has had 2 runs on turf coming back from a 205 day break so should be approaching full fitness. Those races were also tougher and more valuable than this. Returned to the AW completely unexposed over this trip she looks worth chancing an each way interest on against these rivals. She’ll need a career best to win but as a 3 year old that is entirely possible. Good luck!
