BON VITESSE – 5.40pm NEWCASTLE

0.5 PTS EACH WAY BET ADVISED AT THE INDUSTRY BEST PRICE OF 12/1 ONLY AVAILABLE WITH BET365

Dropped 3lb, down in Class, back on the All-Weather, stepping up in trip, with the in form Harry Russell (Last 14 days: 5-16, 31%) taking a useful further 5lb off her back I think Brian Ellison’s lightly-raced winner Bon Vitesse looks well-worth an each way interest at the current 12/1 on offer with BET365.

It’s the step up in trip I really like as this suits on breeding, I’ve watched her running on over 6f a couple of times, and think it could bring about improvement. Her race at Wolverhampton two starts back had a few decent sorts in it so her running on 3.25 lengths 5th of 11 wasn’t a bad result with the 1st, 3rd, and 4th all running well since and the 2nd (Tilaawah) can be watched in the 4.25 at Kempton today. Tilaawah should run well but it’s a “deep” race so don’t expect too much. A close-up first 4 finish would frank the form of the Wolverhampton race.

The selection should be fully fit on her third start back from a 78 day break, she handles today’s Tapeta surface, and her draw in stall 4 is ok. She looks over-priced at 12/1 and having considered the form of all her rivals, even off top weight, she might not be too far away. Good luck!
