I thought the 7 year old mare Czech Her Out was a completely different beast stepped up to 23f for the first time, always travelling well, and then powering clear. I was gutted at the time as I had done Mini Crest, a horse who I really thought was a winner in waiting, but the selection breezed past her.

I think a 6lb rise is very fair, and although we don’t know for sure if she’ll stay the extra 3f, as long as she switches off again, there looks to be more races to be won with her. Uno Mas sets a good standard, but he hasn’t backed up a win since the 2019 season, so hopefully he’ll chuck in one of his off days again.
