I originally put up an EW shot in Cut And Run in this race as a bit of value, but this 6 year old mare was one that I always wanted to play, it’s just that her opening price of 3/1 was just too tight. However, she has doubled in price so I want to give her a go.
She was friendless in the betting on her handicap debut, where she wasn’t given a hard time, settled in the rear, and then running on in to third under hands and heels riding, but the race was already over.
She’s stoutly bred, and up in trip by 4.5f looks sure to see her travel easier in the early part of the race. She’s unexposed, and if anything was to win easy in here, it would be her.
