Hi guys, I think the highly regarded Charles Hills trained 2 year old colt Orazio looks worth an each way interest in this highly competitive Group 2 race.
He won impressively by 3 lengths on his debut at Windsor before only going down by a length when sent off Favourite in a Listed race not run to suit at Newbury 5 weeks ago. On that occasion, they went too slow a pace and he was found to have a “wound below his left fore knee” after the race.
This Gimcrack Stakes has been his target for some time and with hopefully much more in the way of improvement to come from him I’m hoping he can get back on track today. He should get a pace to aim at here and William Buick is an excellent first-time booking.
