The 6 year old gelding Going Mobile has hit the crossbar on three occasions this season, all off the same mark of 92, but always just bumping in to one.

He ran better than the bare form on his latest start over further than normal (25.5f), but it was too much of a test on the rain softened ground, and he weakened in to fourth.

The handicapper has cut him some slack with a 2lb drop down to 90, and now the stable conditional gets on board to take a very handy 6lb off, so he’s effectively running off 84.

It could well be that he’s had enough for the season, but he would have to go close if on a going day.

I’ve no idea what Orchestrated is going to do, but this 10 year old gelding’s new trainer has been doing really well lately (Decoration Of War has bolted in twice).

The selection’s new handler has received a horse from the previous trainer before in Oxford Blu, a horse who had completely lost the plot, but it ran a good second on his first run for him. Where as Orchestrated ran a fair 3l 2nd back in May over a trip too short, and he has won off a 3lb higher mark before too, so hopefully he won’t need to improve it as much.
