Firstly when I recommend EW, unless specified, I would only do enough on the place part to cover the win stake, as in the long run it’s more profitable to just go for the win, but this is such a tricky race.
This 7 year old mare was a good looking switcher to Tristan Davidson, and ran a nice debut when third over 20f, but she looks a dour stayer, and it was just too short. She bombed next time, but ran a much better race last time at Toxxy over 23.5f, behind two of tomorrow’s rivals, but she was poorly placed and let them get first run. I think the result would have been the same if she was more prominent, but she is now 8lb & 6lb better off for 7-9l, and gets an extra furlong here too.
Clearly there isn’t much between them, but if she is ridden more prominently, then she should be involved.
