Maybe we should call him wealth watch as it’s hard to know whether he’s just lost the plot, or just needs to be on a going day. It was only a season ago that he was a good looking 130 horse, but now he finds himself off top weight in a 0-100.
He did show a big glimmer at Wetherby off 104 when running on in to second over 15f, but pulled up early on the next start, and then his jumping just fell to pieces at Stratford last time, although I did feel like he was travelling early on which gives me hope.
So why do him now? Well he’s got the first time blinkers on, which I always like, and Jonjo seems to be landing a few gambles, so I’ll give this one a chance at the prices – boom or bust.
