Hi guys, please note this tip isn’t for tomorrow it is for Thursday in the Group 3 Hampton Court Stakes at 3.05pm and the horse is The Rosstafarian who is best-priced 16/1 with BET365. He is available at 14/1 with several bookmakers including SKYBET who are the only firm (I am aware of) paying 4 places on the race.
I give this Hugo Palmer trained 3 year old colt a chance in this particularly with rain forecast in the area tomorrow night. Hopefully it will be enough to give a little ease in the ground. Also, the form of his last time out 7th in the Group 1 Irish 2000 Guineas was well and truly franked by both Poetic Flare & Lucky Vega today when they finished 1st & 2nd in the Group 1 St James’ Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He will be suited by the 2 furlong step up in trip, the first-time booking of the in form Oisin Murphy (Last 14 days: 11-50, 22%) is eye-catching, and the drop in Class from a Group 1 to a Group 3 can only help. He has been seen running on in both his starts over a mile this season appearing like he will be well-suited by this step up in trip, he will be fit on his third start of the season, and I’m hopeful he will take a major step forward now trying a more suitable distance for the first time on just the fifth start of his career.
