The 7 year old Seamus Mullins trained gelding LANDIN was coming back from a 605 day break when finishing a good 16.5 lengths 3rd of 9 on his chase debut to the re-opposing Champagne Noir around this trip at Huntingdon 27 days ago. He will have needed the run, was running on at the end, and would have finished closer only he made a fairly bad mistake at the second last.
Prior to his break he was running against the likes of Defi Du Seuil and rated 133 over hurdles so 9lb better off with Champagne Noir running off a mark of 113 today he has potential in this sphere and, with a clear round, should get much closer. I have advised a win bet at 12/1 with only 7-runners taking part. Good luck!
