An additional race today with 8 races on the Royal Ascot card and as all the tips in one message has proved popular this week that’s the way we are going today again guys. Write-ups are time consuming (particularly if you want to make them as detailed as I usually do) so two or three per day is usually the maximum. These will resume again after Ascot is over.

We’ve had a very good first three days followed by a horrible day yesterday. Unfortunately, it was very much a “what could’ve been” type of day where I fancied 6 of the 8 winners but have tipped the wrong ones as there were other horses I also liked in what were very competitive races. Let’s hope we do better today & can add to the 18/1, 7/1, & 12/1 winners we already hit this week. Best of luck with all your bets today!

I really like the chances of Favourite Pinatubo so certainly wouldn’t put you off him but didn’t want to tip him at 6/4 so I’ve again gone for a bit of value with THREAT who won two Group 2 races last year, will be suited by the drying conditions at the track, came to hand early last season, and is bred to be suited by today’s step up to a mile for the first time.

I’m very much with the Favourite, Who Dares Wins, in this but didn’t want to tip him at 11/10 so I have opted for the “dark horse” of the race. ADRRASTOS has made up in to a very good chaser (officially rated 142) and makes his belated flat debut here. He won after a 502 day break on debut last year so should be fine coming back from a 233 day break today and James Doyle is an excellent first-time booking. I don’t know exactly what to expect from him but he could surprise & outrun his big odds. Good luck!
